about Agromenelais company

Agromenelais Company is a family-run business located in the village of Thrapsimi at an altitude of 800 meters in the mountainous region of Karditsa. From year 2012, we have been organically cultivating the supefood of Blueberry, Aronia and goji berry. These, of high nutritional value, fruit are available fresh to big Greek food chains as well as to shops selling biological products.

The younger generation of the company (Nikos and Sophia), we decided to go on by creating biological, functional and selected food using biological superfood, cereals, vegetables and fruit that we cultivate in our fields, in the same mountainous area. Being stimulated by all the new nutritional trends and habits of the last years, we have created high quality food.

Our catalogue consists of spreadings with aronia and also with aronia and goji berry (without sugar but with agave syrup), biological vegetable pasta and whole grain pasta with the addition of goji (especially for vegetarians and for periods of fasting).

We also standardized the honey that we collected from hives that have been placed in our superfood fields and we packed up oregano from the mountainous area of Agrafa mountains.

In addition, we created blends of teas and herbal teas in an innovative, transparent packaging. Our codes contain sheets of biological supefood, the best varieties of teas, herbs and aromatic plants from our mountains.

Based on old local recipes, we have created 15 flavors of vermouth, which are wine products and are produced with the help of a top wine-maker.

The self-sown growth of the balsam in the inaccessible mountainsides of our mountains gave us the inspiration to go on with the production of the ancient healing Balsam Oil. A natural product with special beneficial virtues, antiseptic, and healing action.

With a vision of making our place known, we cultivated and used the best ingredients so as, the qualitative comparative advantages of the mountainous Agrafa area to become known within and outside Greece.
